In 2003, she published her first book, “Planning for a Reason, a Season, and a Lifetime” (1stBooks Library), where she drew upon her experience as a World Trade Center survivor, mother, and wife in order to encourage readers to take control of their finances and prepare for unexpected events. In 2008 Simpson released her second book, The Ultimate Plan: A Financial Survival Guide for Life’s Unexpected Events, a revised and updated edition of her first book that focuses more on disaster planning. Along with the book, Simpson has developed a corresponding workshop designed to assist individuals with the necessary steps to ensure financial stability during difficult times in their lives.
In addition to working with churches and various community organizations, Simpson is the host of The Power of Gospel radio show, broadcasts on WRSU 88.7 FM and WWZN 1510 The Zone and heard in several east coast states.
